Summers News is operating as normal and we will continue to do so for as long as possible. Newspaper delivery is defined by the government as a 'Key Worker' role.

The health and well being of our customers and our newspaper deliverers is paramount. We continue to follow The Government and Public Health England guidance. Our deliverer's understand the importance of good hand hygiene, washing their hands and not touching their face etc. whilst delivering. We ask our customers to ensure the 2 meter minimum distance is maintained between us at all times (not to open the door to take the newspaper from the deliverer etc.). In accordance with The Government, any deliverer who is required to self isolate will not deliver until period of isolation is over.

All of our deliverers are well, but some are particularly 'vulnerable' to COVID 19 and so are not working at present. Our fantastic deliverers are going the extra mile to cover rounds so that we can get to all our customers. Please bear with us if we are a little later than normal, we will deliver your paper as early as possible.
